On song Horbury, out played Normanton in a closely fought contest.

Horbury start the first half well with some excellent passing moves. They created a lot of chances, but could not find the back of the net.

A break through came though towards the end of the first half when James Fox raced on to a through ball and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

Normanton worked hard and closed Horbury down well, making life hard for them, but they could not create anything in the final third of the field.

In the second half Horbury turned on the style. Their passing became sharp and effective. This lead to Horbury grabbing five goals, with David Ramsey completing a hat-rick, James Fox adding to the goal he scored in the first half and Sam Lockwood scoring a goal in the last few minutes.
