Group discussions, fieldwork, interviewing people using questionnaires, Geography Association World Wise Quiz, helping at Open Evening.

Positive Attitude

.Listening, joining in with class discussions, doing extra research without being asked, cutting out newspaper articles, presenting work neatly, asking questions, sharing experience.

Independent Learner.

Thinking for yourself before you ask, reading instructions, research at the library, helping yourself to an atlas during your geography lesson, using Encarta, searching the internet, writing to people or organisations, looking up words in a dictionary.

Respect.

Listening to your teacher, listening to other students, co-operating with others in a group, sharing work out fairly, thinking about other people's points of view, thinking about how you work in a group, looking at display work and looking after it.

Informed decisions.

Find out about GCSE Geography. Find out what careers Geographers can do, read the newspaper and watch the news, look at evidence before you make a decision, find out about sustainability, think about what you buy, learn about the EU, take part in sponsored events to help less fortunate people in other countries.

Targets.
