Looking at Art

- study art from other countries and cultures

- Go and look at works of art, visit Wakefield art gallery and Bretton hall Sculpture Park.

- When visiting new cities and places abroad tour local galleries

- Carry a sketchbook with you to record new and unfamiliar surroundings

Respect

Display

- Enjoy the displays of work by students in the rooms and around school – respect this work by looking but NOT touching

The Art Rooms

- Respect the materials and equipment in the art room by returning these materials in clean and workable order.

- Respect the books, sculptures and artefacts from the other cultures on display in the art rooms

- Clean work surfaces at the end of a lesson

Atmosphere

- A productive and enjoyable atmosphere in the art room can be created by:- 

1. listening to the teacher, follow instructions
