18/10/02 10a.m. This was the first Horbury
Soldiers Grave that we found. At each grave, we took it in turns
to say a few words before placing the cross that we had prepared
for that soldier.
We also took rubbings of the graves.
18/10/02 10:30a.m. Blighty Valley, another
Horbury Soldier finds a resting place.
18/10/02 10:30a.m. The group hold a brief
ceremony, discuss how the soldiers died, and take some brass rubbings.
18/10/02 10:55a.m. One Horbury soldier lies
in a bleak and desolate spot at Authielle.
