I.C.T. expectationsEquipmentBefore you start your I.C.T. lesson, you should have the following:-
Behaviour in an I.C.T. room. The I.C.T. rooms at Horbury are easily the most expensive classrooms in the whole school. You must treat the equipment and facilities with respect. Before your lesson, you should line up outside the room in a single file. Do not make a lot of noise, try to remember that people may be trying to work nearby, and you may be disturbing them. Your teacher will have planned where they would like you to sit. Go directly to your place, but before you sit down you should check:-
Check all of these things carefully, and tell your teacher straight away if any of these things are not correct. Organise your workYou are expected to work in an organised way. Save your work regularly, not just at the end of the lesson. Save your files in sensible folder names, calling the files sensible names so that you can identify what they are later. Printing workEach user at Horbury is allowed to print a certain number of pages a week. You should think carefully before you print any documents, and always ask the teacher before you print. Do not go to the printer, your teacher will bring your printouts to you. You should make sure that each piece of work that your print has your name on it. The I.C.T. facilities at Horbury are provided to help you extend your learning skills, but they are also great fun. Enjoy yourself! |
