Year 10

At Key Stage 4, Horbury ICT department offers two different routes to our students, GCSE ICT and GNVQ ICT.

GNVQ ICT is a double option, which means that students use two of their Key Stage 4 options if they want to take this route. Most students will be able to follow the Intermediate GNVQ course, which means that if they are successful then they will gain the equivalent of four GCSE's

GCSE ICT is a single option that involves students producing a substantial amount of coursework (50% of their final grade is coursework), as well as two exams at the end of year 11.
